Installer Show

Last week we attended the Installer Show in Birmingham, a unique and unparalleled event for professionals in heat, water, air, and energy technology. This year’s show, with its promise of being larger and more impressive than ever, did not disappoint, with over 500 exhibitors unveiling the latest industry advancements.

The show itself does what it says on the tin and is predominantly installation brands. However, it’s a great chance to see familiar faces and catch on to the latest movements within the industry. We attended as we planned a day to meet with some of our favourite journalists to catch up. But first, we headed to the BMA panel to watch BKU and BMA designers discuss bathroom trends. The discussion covered everything from functionality and wellness to using water efficiently. It was a great open conversation demonstrating the fads and trends in the ever-growing bathroom industry.

After a quick coffee break, we met with BKU’s editor to discuss potential topics for upcoming issues. Then, we visited the Flair stand to witness an innovative product- the dynamic shower enclosure. This product, which can be installed in just two minutes, truly redefines efficiency in our industry!

After that, we went to the food court for a quick serving of fish and chips while we caught up with Sensetech Shower Enclosures about their latest launches and plans. We then decided to get in the car and make the 3-hour journey home with exhibitor brochures in hand!
